Does this version run with Mari 8.x ?

Is this Extension Pack Version compatible with Mari 8 ?

No.

Mari 8, in order to be in line with the VFX Ref Platform Updates, updates to PySide 6 / QT6.
This change requires significant Extension Pack rewrites. Mari Extension Pack 6 currently does not support Mari 8.

Mari 8.0(.v2) is feature identical to Mari 7.5(.v2), apart from the under the hood VFX Ref Platform changes.
Until Mari 8 receives Extension Pack support, using Mari 7.5v2 therefore provides the exact same user experience and feature set as Mari 8.0(.v2), and Extension Pack 6 R4 is fully supported for Mari 7.5v2.

Mari 8.0 is likely to be released in Q2 2026.
