We define a site based on the presence of office space. For clarification we listed some fictional examples below:
Example 1 - Multiple offices, central infrastructure
Company X has its main office in London, UK. All its infrastructure is hosted there.
It has physical offices in Montreal, Canada and Bangalore, India.
Office workers from Montreal and Bangalore remote into Machines in London and work there. In this case we count all 3 company locations as separate sites, since physical offices are associated with them
Example 2 - One office and remote workers
Company X has its main office in London. It employs a large force of freelancers and remote workers who remote into the London office machines despite not being in London. In this case we only count one Site, as no other physical office space is associated with the company
Example 3 - One office and additional AWS Services
Company X has its main office in London. For flexibility when scaling up they use AWS, Azure or similar Cloud Services to rent additional infrastructure as required. Some people work on machines in London, some on remotely hosted cloud machines.
In this case we only count 1 Site, as only one has physical office space associated with it

This software is provided by the copyright holders and contributors "as is" and any express or implied warranties, including, but not limited to, the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are disclaimed. In no event shall the copyright holder or contributors be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential damages (including, but not limited to, procurement of substitute goods or services; loss of use, data, or profits; or business interruption), however caused and on any theory of liability, whether in contract, strict liability, or tort (including negligence or otherwise), arising in any way out of the use of this software, even if advised of the possibility of such damage.

Licensee agrees to cooperate in good faith with reasonable requests intended solely to verify compliance with this Agreement. No audit of Licensee's books, records, or financial statements shall be required except where mandated by applicable law or agreed to in writing by the Licensee.

If the breach is not cured within that period, this Agreement may be terminated immediately.
Upon termination, Licensee shall delete all copies of the Software and destroy any license keys in its possession unless retention is required by law.
If any provision of this Agreement is determined to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable for any reason, such provision shall be deemed modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable. If such modification is not possible, the provision shall be severed from this Agreement. The invalidity, illegality, or unenforceability of any provision shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision of this Agreement, which shall remain in full force and effect.
Neither party shall be liable for failure to perform due to causes beyond its reasonable control.
The Software may collect technical information necessary for license validation, product security, and software improvement.
Such information shall not include the contents of user projects unless explicitly disclosed. Any collection, processing, or storage of personal data shall be performed in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
