With Mari Extension Pack 2027, we're making some exciting changes to our pricing—and they're all in your favor.
Our goal is to make Mari Extension Pack more accessible to individual artists and small studios while being careful to keep Extension Pack maintainable as the niche product it is.
Goodbye Gumroad, Hello Lower Prices
For more than 10 years, Mari Extension Pack was sold through Gumroad.
Over the past few years, however, Gumroad's fees increased significantly. In some cases, as much as 30% of a sale went to Gumroad, with the average transaction costing around 15% in fees.
With Mari Extension Pack 2027, we've finally moved away from Gumroad and are now using Lemon Squeezy (owned by Stripe) as our Merchant of Record.
Our sales fees are now capped at 5% (plus standard payment processing fees, such as PayPal charges).
The result? Lower operating costs for us—and lower prices for you.
Indies and Freelancers Rejoice!
Individual users benefit the most from the new pricing:
- Indie License: €59 (previously €69) - a saving of 14%
- Freelancer License: €99 (previously €110) - a saving of 10%
All licenses continue to be perpetual without subscriptions.
Better Options for Small Studios
Mari Extension Pack simply wouldn't be maintainable financially without the continued support of our large studio customers.
While pricing remains unchanged for larger studios, we recognized that smaller facilities with only a handful of Mari licenses need more flexible options.
That's why we've introduced the following changes:
- The Small Business Bundle (10 licenses) has been reduced by €100, bringing the price down to €1,500.
- We've introduced a new 5-license Small Business Bundle for €750.
- We've also added a single seat yearly studio subscription for facilities that require fewer than five licenses, providing an affordable alternative for smaller teams. The overall per seat cost is higher on a subscription since - as stated above - Studio Licensing is our bread and butter keeping us running.
And one more thing ...
We now offer a special 1-year License to Students enrolled in universities and schools.
To cover verification costs we charge an administrative fee of 7 EUR for processing Student Licenses.
